Starting over

I kinda forgot about this blog so i decided to start over. Lets see things in the Thompson household are FINALLY getting back to normal. September 2nd Cody finally came home after a year deployed to Iraq, his brigade ended Operation Iraqi Freedom and was all over the news. Its kinda cool to think about when my kids are in school and learn about Operation Iraqi Freedom they can say their dad was a part of the surge that went there in 2007 and ended it in 2010.
Now its like Cody never left which is nice, the first few months after Cody came home Kaiden freaked out every time Cody had to go to work and if he didn't come home after PT or during lunch Kaiden somehow convinced himself that daddy was never coming home again and would just cry and cry until Cody finally did come home.

About a month after Cody came home we learned that we were expecting baby number 3 due June 11th. We were in total shock but now are just very excited for June to get here so we can meet Konner, i think my dad is more excited than anyone not only because Konner's middle name is William which is my dad's name but because he is getting another grandson.

Kaiden is doing great! He now has a new favorite show called Bubble Guppies and is learning lots of new things. He is to smart for his own good. He is also VERY excited to be having a brother, he knew from the time we told him he would be a big brother that it was a boy. He is always talking about what he is going to do with him and the things they are going to play, its cute! He will be starting pre-school this fall and keeps on saying only me my mommy and my backpack are going to school and when mommy takes me she is going to cry lol. Love the things kids say.

Kyleigh is growing like a weed, she is already in size 2T clothes and has been in them since Christmas! She is speaking in sentences and knows what she wants, what a girl she is! She has to pick out her clothes and hair thing everyday and she is in love with her babies (stuffed animals) she cannot go ANYWHERE without one. She also has a boyfriend actually she has 2 boyfriends one is Cody's best friend Billy, she has him wrapped around her little finger and the other is one of Cody's soldiers, he reminds me a lot of my brother in-law Austin. She is ready for a baby in the house she loves babies and i am just a little worried about how much she will want to help but i guess we will see in about 12 weeks!

Cody and I are doing great Cody FINALLY got promoted to SGT. in January and he is now very busy but in a good mood and i am just getting bigger every day, im in a ton of pain and cannot wait to finally no longer be pregnant so my body can actually recover from three c-sections!

We are counting down the days until we are out of the army as of now we have a year and a half until we can leave Fort Lewis and never look back! Being an army family is the most stressful and hard job you could ever ask for and i can't wait to be a normal everyday family with everyday worries. Well that is all for today, hopefully i will remember to get on this thing every once and awhile to update our family what is going on in our lives.
